ANÁLISE COMPARATIVA ENTRE O USO DE DRONE E O MÉTODO NÍVEL DE MANGUEIRA NA OBTENÇÃO DE CURVAS DE NÍVEL

This study presents a comparative analysis between the use of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) and the traditional water level method for obtaining contour lines. The primary objective was to evaluate temporal efficiency, precision, and operational costs of both techniques at the Fundação Educacional do Município de Assis (FEMA) campus. The methodology involved an aerial survey using a DJI Mavic 3 Multispectral drone, processed with Agisoft Metashape software, alongside a manual survey based on the communicating vessels principle. Results showed that drone technology reduced total execution time by approximately 80% and provided superior altimetric detail, generating 35 contour lines compared to the 31 obtained manually, enabled by a high-density point cloud. It is concluded that while the traditional method remains viable for small-scale and low-budget projects, the use of drones demonstrates superiority in productivity and data detail for contemporary topography.
